Cheers to 24 years!
“You've got to know when to hold 'em…”
On a cold winter's night in February - not a warm summer's eve - my dad took a gamble on a dream to serve his community the best way he knew how.
As we reflected on our 24th anniversary, one song kept coming to mind - The Gambler by Kenny Rogers. It reminds me so much of my dad opening the store: taking a chance on a dream, trusting his values, and believing in this community from day one.
Over the past 24 years, we've weathered our share of challenges — a recession, a pandemic, and all the unpredictable twists of small‑business life. It's taken resilience and the unwavering support of this community to keep moving forward. And through it all, we've learned what it truly means to “know when to hold 'em,” and we did.
This journey was never about luck. It's been driven by heart, hard work, and a passion for keeping our community active and injury‑free with the perfect shoe. Thanks to your continued support, this is a hand we're proud to keep playing — and we won't be folding anytime soon.
Thank you for 24 incredible years!
Celebrate with us Saturday, February 7th from 10–5!
Much Love,
Bill, Amanda & The Human Race Family
